Seasonal Vaccination - Flu, RSV, Shingles and Pneumococcal

Flu - We still have flu jabs available until 31 March 2025. Please contact the surgery to make an appointment.

This year NHS England have moved the start date for the national flu campaign to October. You will be unable to receive your vaccine before this date.

The practice will be running specific clinics for flu and flu & covid. These will be schedule from October onwards. We will begin to invite patients from September.

NHS England have confirmed eligibility as below:

  • those aged 65 years and over
  • those aged 18 years to under 65 years in clinical risk groups
  • those in long-stay residential care homes
  • carers in receipt of carer’s allowance, or those who are the main carer of an elderly or disabled person
  • close contacts of immunocompromised individuals
