Social prescribing is a service to support people to access local community services to improve their wellbeing.
Social prescribers are there to listen and connect people to community-based support, including activities and services that meet practical, social, and emotional needs that affect their health and wellbeing. Examples might be volunteering roles, friendly groups to join or ways to participate in sport or nature.
Social prescribing can help you to have more control over your own health and find ways to improve how you feel in a way that suits you.
